The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description

This is an image that can be anything to anyone. I've had people guess fireworks, Christmas lights, spider webs and more. When I did art fairs I had it hanging as a 60-by-40-inch canvas wrap that would draw people in to my booth to ask, "What IS that?" It's a dandelion puff.

Phil Marty

I picked up a film camera when I was in my early teens and have put it down only once - In 2003 when I replaced it with a digital camera. Nature photography has been my passion from the beginning, but my portfolio has expanded over the years to include travel, street photography and blues music. As a travel journalist, now retired from the Chicago Tribune but still trekking on a freelance basis, I have photographed in more than 60 countries on all seven continents. I admit to a love affair with the American West and Southwest and now live in the red-rock country of southwest Utah.
