The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Brokopondo Lake in Northeast Suriname has an other-worldlly feel to it with the remains of rainforest trees piercing the surface. It was created in the early 1960s by damming the Suriname River to produce electricity for processing bauxite. The lake is popular with fishermen.
