During an early morning game drive in the Namiri Plains area of Tanzania's Serengeti, we came across this lioness perched on a downed tree. She gave us the eye but wasn't bothered by us as we excitedly captured images of her.

I picked up a film camera when I was in my early teens and have put it down only once - In 2003 when I replaced it with a digital camera. Nature photography has been my passion from the beginning, but my portfolio has expanded over the years to include travel, street photography and blues music.
